hi, i’m sade. welcome to my film page.

i am a filmmaker and transdisciplinary artist based in philadelphia, and moonlight as a neuroscientist. my work has been showcased domestically and internationally, and is centered on themes of identity, heritage, emotional complexity, and metanarratives.

while my film practice has involved writing, directing, and editing several narrative and experimental projects, i have also done commercial editing and creative consulting for private, academic, and industry clients, including HBO, telfar global, princeton university, and blackstar film institute. i also co-produce a podcast called NEUROCINEMA, which explores the intersections between neuroscience and cinema.

while this page is dedicated to my filmic works, my broader portfolio of audiovisual works beyond film is still expanding, but pieces from several residencies, exhibitions, and live performances can be found on my social media and web archives

i hope to bridge the gap between the worlds of science and storytelling through the study and creation of multidimensional narrative landscape. below you will see some of the projects i’ve worked on thus far, a list that includes a mixture of personal and larger-scale productions.

this list will be expanding soon, so stay tuned.
